De Winter’s Pattern: An Unusual Electrocardiographic Pattern to Recognize
نویسندگان
چکیده
De Winter syndrome is a rare electrocardiographic (ECG) pattern that makes the diagnosis of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) very challenging. Our case indicates early identification and such ECGs timely reperfusion therapy de as an STEMI equivalent are required to improve prognosis patients.

De Winters modified electrocardiogram pattern.
A 59-year-old patient with a family history of coronary artery disease and no other risk factors arrived at the emergency department with typical angina chest pain lasting for 60 minutes. The admission electrocardiogram showed 1 mm upsloping ST-segment depression at the J point in leads V3–V6 without peaked T waves (Fig. 1a). The patient underwent primary percutaneous transluminal coronary angi...
متن کاملBrugada-Like Electrocardiographic Pattern
The Brugada syndrome is characterized by a ST-segment elevation in the right precordial leads associated with right bundle branch block (RBBB) pattern and a propensity for life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias in the absence of structural heart disease. 1 Mutations in a cardiac sodium channel gene have been linked to this syndrome 2. The mechanism underlying the RBBB and ST-segment elevation...
متن کاملAn unusual cause of miliary radiographic pattern.
1 of 2 DESCRIPTION A 26-year-old woman presented to our medical assessment unit with a 2-week history of breathlessness and cough. She was a lifelong non-smoker and had kept a parrot for many years. She was in type 1 respiratory failure with oxygen saturations of 87% and PO 2 of 7.8 kpa breathing room air. A chest radiograph showed multiple nodules in a miliary pattern ( fi gure 1 ). There was ...
متن کاملAnalysis of Gait Pattern to Recognize the Human Activities
Human activity recognition based on the computer vision is the process of labelling image sequences with action labels. Accurate systems for this problem are applied in areas such as visual surveillance, human computer interaction and video retrieval. The challenges are due to variations in motion, recording settings and gait differences. Here we propose an approach to recognize the human activ...
متن کاملBrugada-type Electrocardiographic Pattern Induced by Fever
ST-segment elevation in Brugada syndrome is caused by a shift in the ionic current balance and the creation of a voltage gradient between the epicardium and the endocardium. This ionic mechanism have been shown to be temperature dependent. We describe a 33-year-old man who presented with fever with the dynamic electrocardiographic changes similar to the Brugada syndrome. These electrocardiograp...
